Afternoon: The Gallery of Time at the Louvre-Lens Museum
Set in landscaped surroundings ideal for a stroll, discover “the other Louvre”, a decidedly contemporary building where sophisticated lines are combined with architectural effects of transparency. Amongst its treasures, the museum presents the Galerie du Temps: a place that is unique in the world, bringing together more than 200 works from the Louvre in one single space. Explore a 120 metre gallery for a unique journey through the history of art and civilisations, from the 4th century BC to the middle of the 19th century.
